Privacy Notice

Much of PAW runs on-device, but configured providers and websites can still receive data you send through them.
Use this address for privacy questions now. Discord support can be added later without rewriting the policy.
This notice explains, at a launch-ready level, how PAW handles information across the website, Mac app, iPhone app, daemon, CLI, and related downloads.
1. Data you provide
You may provide information such as account details, contact information, API keys, provider settings, prompts, hunt configuration, browser session material, and support messages.
2. Operational data
PAW may store local operational data such as hunt runs, logs, summaries, config, session state, memory, alerts, and device pairing information so the product can function.
3. Local-first behavior
Much of PAW runs locally on your device. Some actions can still send data to third-party providers you configure, such as AI model vendors, browsers, websites, relay services, or notification services.
4. Third-party providers
If you connect PAW to third-party services, your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their handling of your data.
5. Security
We use reasonable measures to reduce risk, but no software or service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your machines, credentials, provider accounts, and deployment environment.
6. Retention
Data retention depends on how you configure and use PAW. Local files, logs, hunts, and sessions may remain on your device until you remove them or the product rotates them.
7. Your choices
You can typically remove local app data by deleting PAW files, uninstalling the app, revoking provider keys, or clearing sessions and hunts you control.
